Sculptra® Aesthetic is a collagen-stimulating injectable treatment designed to combat facial volume loss and reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles and folds. At Inner Beauty & Skin in Clovis, CA, we use Sculptra to smooth nasolabial folds (lines from the nose to the mouth) and enhance skin structure. The active ingredient, poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), is a safe, biocompatible, and biodegradable synthetic material commonly used in dissolvable sutures and soft-tissue implants. Sculptra is not intended for use around the eyes or lips but is ideal for mid-to-lower face rejuvenation. Sculptra is FDA-approved for the treatment of nasolabial folds and offers long-lasting, natural-looking results by stimulating your body’s collagen production.

Sculptra treatments are generally well-tolerated but may cause temporary injection-site reactions, including:
Redness, tenderness, or mild discomfort
Localized swelling or bruising
Small, palpable lumps under the skin (typically resolving on their own)

A topical numbing cream is available for your comfort. While minor redness or swelling may occur, most clients resume normal activities within 24 hours.
